Aliases in my configuration

That’s a copy of my .tcshrc file, it could be useful for someone (or for me, if someone point out some error/tips/new_tricks_for_old_dog). It is running inder Mac OsX 10.6.8 and 10.7.2 with tcsh without problems.

I like to have  ls output always coloured and with human readable file size

alias ls 'ls -Gh'

The a comfortable shortcuts to have list long, coloured and and with human readable file size

alias ll 'ls -Glh'

How to open the  working directory from shell? A little tick

alias owd 'open `pwd`'

This shows a better list of active process and the kill string directly at hand
alias psk "ps | tail -n+2 | tail -r | tail -n+5 | awk '{ printf("\""Name :%-20s PID:%s\n"\"","\$"4,"\"" kill "\"""\$"1) }' "

Open a file using different texeditors:

TextEdit
alias opente "open -a TextEdit.app "

TextWrangler

alias opentw "open -a TextWrangler.app "

TextMate2
alias opentm "open -a TextMate2.app "

Have fun!
